An evergreen cushion forming arenaria with glossy, bright green lanceolate foliage, that is covered with star shaped pink to pale purple flowers held on short stems.  They flower from April to June preferring full sun or part shade in a poor, moist but well drained soil.  Ideal for alpine beds, bordrers and tubs.  H 15x20cm. 9cm pot
